• 1.1. Introduction

Atak Madeni Yağ Paz. San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“the Company”) attaches great importance to the processing and protection of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“the Law”) and acts with such care in all its plans and actions. Being aware of this fact, we submit this Personal Data Processing and Protection Policy (the “Policy”) to comply with our disclosure obligations under Article 10 of the Law and to inform you of all the administrative and technical measures we have taken in relation to the processing and protection of your personal data.

• 1.2. Objective of the Policy

The primary objective of this Policy is to provide a description of the system for processing and protecting personal data in accordance with the law and its purposes, and to inform the parties to whom the Company processes personal data in this context, in particular, Company Stakeholders, Company Executives, Company Business Partners, Employee Candidates, Visitors, Company and Group Company Customers, Potential Customers and Third Parties. Therefore, we aim to fully comply with the law in the Processing and Protection of Personal Data we undertake and to protect all rights of Data Subjects pursuant to Personal Data laws.

• Our real business partners are real persons with whom we have all kinds of business relationships.
• Stakeholders, Executives, Employees of the Company’s Business Partners are all real persons, including employees, Stakeholders and executives of real and legal persons (such as business partner, supplier) with whom the Company has all kinds of business relations.
• Company Executives are the members of the Company’s Board of Directors and other authorized real persons.
• A prospective employee is a real person who has applied for a job with the company in a certain way or disclosed their resume and related information for the company to consider.
• A company’s customers are people who are using or have used the products and services offered by the company, whether or not they have a contractual relationship with the company.
• Group Company Customers are real persons who use or have used the products and services offered by the Company Group Companies, regardless of whether the Company has any contractual relationship with the Group Companies.
• A potential customer is a real person who has inquired about or expressed an interest in using the Company’s products and services, or has been assessed as having such an interest under the rules of commercial custom and business practice.
